New Delhi: May is shaping up to be a month jam-packed with new releases. We’ve put up a list of 11 new series and films that will be released this month. It’s necessary to refresh our May watch lists.
1. Modern Love Mumbai:
For hopeless romantics, this Amazon Prime Video show promises to be a pleasure. Vishal Bharadwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Dhruv Sehgal, Alankrita Shrivastava, and Nupur Asthana are among the show’s six directors. Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ranveer Brar, Meiyang Chang, and Naseeruddin Shah, to name a few, are among the diverse cast members. The show, which is an Indian adaptation of ‘Modern Love,’ will premiere on May 13.

2. Stranger Things- Season 4:
This sci-fi horror drama series will release its fourth season in two volumes on Netflix, following the great popularity of the first three seasons. The first volume will be available to stream on Netflix beginning May 27, with the second volume following on July 1. We’re looking forward to seeing the youngsters again.

3. Thar:
Anil Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, and Fatima Sana Sheikh feature in this upcoming action thriller directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary and produced by Anil and Harshvardhan Kapoor. Set in the 1980s in Pushkar, a cop finds an opportunity to establish himself in a neo-Western style. On May 6, the film will be available on Netflix.
4. Jayeshbhai Jordar:
This upcoming comedy-drama film, directed by Divyang Thakkar and produced by Yash Raj Films, stars Ranveer Singh. The plot centres on a shy man who must struggle to protect his pregnant wife and daughter. The catch is his traditional Gujarati sarpanch father, who believes in equal rights for men and women. On May 13, the film will be released in theatres.

5. Dhaakad:
This action drama starring Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Rampal, and Divya Dutta is due to hit theatres on May 20. An international spy is at the centre of the plot.
