New Delhi: Popular director Pooja Bhatt, who was recently seen in Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, is currently busy savouring her newly earned fame.
Lately, the 52-year-old actress dropped a picture on her Instagram handle in favour of a cause in association with PETA India with a caption that read, “Have a greater appreciation for freedom post my stint in the BiggBoss OTT2 house. Implore the powers that be to please come together & use their collective might to FREE Joymala.”
In the comment section of the same post, one Instagram user accused Pooja’s director father Mahesh Bhatt of playing with people’s feelings and using them to feed his ego.
In his controversial comment, the user named Ishatirajat wrote, “Your father is telling tales of stark naked Parveen Babi ran after him in dark night. To please his ego. Are you sure Mahesh Bhatt never used your body to satisfy his ego? What an irony ohh God. People can use someone’s innocent feelings to please their egos and might. And then move freely around calling themselves sons of God.”
However, unlike most celebs who ignore such useless hate comments, Pooja didn’t hold herself back and gave a befitting reply to her hater saying, “May God bless you and rescue you from the blind hate that you choose to spew. Wish you the best.”
Mahesh Bhatt’s infamous affair with Parveen Babi
For the uninformed, Mahesh Bhatt and Parveen Babi’s infamous extramarital affair became the hot topic of B-town back in 1997. The Aashiqi director’s relationship with Babi was so intense that in order to be with her, he even turned back on his children (Pooja and Rahul Bhatt) and wife Lorraine Bright (Kiran Bhatt).
However, as time went by, Babi’s love for Mahesh started to fade away and she started dating her Co-Star Amitabh Bachchan. Later in 1986, Mahesh also left his wife Kiran Bhatt and married actress Soni Razdan with whom he had two children Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt.
In a famous interview, the director also claimed that his ex Parveen Babi was suffering from mental illness and when he tried to leave her house, she charged at him naked.

During Bigg Boss OTT 2’s family week episode, Mahesh Bhatt entered the house to show support for his daughter Pooja Bhatt.
While fans were happy to see Mahesh interact and share his experience with Pooja and her fellow contestants, his way too touchy behaviour with one of the show’s contestants Manisha Rani upset the fans who brutally bashed him for the same.
