Mangalavaaram gets OTT release date: When and where to watch Payal Rajput’s horror thriller

The upcoming psychological mystery movie Mangalavaaram will be available to watch on Disney Plus Hotstar, on Tuesday, December 26.

New Delhi: Featuring Payal Rajput, the star actress of the film RX100, and director Ajay Bhupathi, the mystical thriller Mangalavaaram was a financial success at the box office. Director Ajay Bhupathi wasted no time after the disappointment of Maha Samudram in creating an engrossing psychological mystery thriller. Once again, he achieved spectacularly with the November 17 release of Mangalavaaram, in which he made sure the picture offered an exciting experience.

The film is currently preparing for its digital distribution after a fruitful theatrical run. Disney Plus Hotstar, the legal owner of the film’s digital rights, has formally announced that they have bought the OTT streaming service of the film.

Plot

A town is gripped by fear as the body count rises inexplicably. At its core, the narrative is about a young lady named Shailu, and it takes an exciting cinematic trip to reveal the mystery story.

On Tuesdays, bodies are found in the Godavari district village of Lakshmipuram, revealing illicit relationships and causing a wave of terror among the locals. During these periods, the superstition-driven murder of villagers takes the form of a lady who is said to be possessed. Amid these unnerving events, suspicions emerge, suggesting a concealed truth behind the village fatalities, which happen to coincide with the arrival of the Police Inspector.

The four Indian languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada will all have access to Mangalavaaram online.

There are many notable actors and actresses in the film, including Ajmal Ameer, Nandita Sweta, Chaitanya Krishna, Ajay Ghosh, Divya Pillai, and Ravindra Vijay.

Swathi Reddy Gunupati and M Suresh Varma are the backers of Mangalavaram via their production companies, Mudhra Media Works, and A Creative Works. The film’s cinematographer was Shivendra Dasarathi, while editor Madhav Kumar Gullapalli was his partner. Ajaneesh Loknath wrote the music.
