New Delhi: Malayalam Film ‘Manjummel Boys’ which has hit the Silver Screens on February 22nd and is receiving positive response from the audiene is based on real life events. Yes you heard it right, the story is inspired by a true incident that happened a few years ago and made headlines across the nation. However it is extremely difficult to portray real life stories into cinema, but yes the director Chidambaram has proved it with the success of the film. The Malayalam blockbuster will now be released for the Telugu audience.

The film is based on a true story that happened in the Guna Caves of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu These caves are also known as the ‘Devil’s Kitchen’ and visitors are not allowed to get access inside. GUna Caves is situated near the Pillar Rocks.

A group of boys from Kerala’s Manjummel decided to go on a trip to KodaiKanal. These friends reached the Guna Caves when Subhash accidentally fell deep inside the caves.

The Boy who fell into the ditch is Subhash and it was difficult for him to get help and assistance as there were limited resources and they were running out of time.

After sensing danger, Subhash’s friend Siju David came forward to help his friend and went inside the cave and took him out and saved his life.
