New Delhi: Manushi Chhillar has joined the shoot of the upcoming John Abraham starrer action-thriller ‘Tehran’. The former Miss World shared two pictures from the sets of the film, to inform about her inclusion in the cast. Her co-actor John Abraham also welcomed her by sharing the pictures on his Twitter handle.
While sharing the ‘behind-the-scenes’ from the shoot, Manushi wrote, Super excited to join the one & only @thejohnabraham on #Tehran. This journey is going to be really special!”

In the picture, Manushi can be seen flaunting her short-haired look with a gun in her hand. On the other side, John Abraham can be seen in his full-beard avatar as he also holds a gun. The film is helmed under Bake My Cake Films and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

As the name suggests, the film will be based on the geopolitical scenario of Iran’s capital city, Tehran. The film is said to be based on true events. This is the first directorial venture for Arun Gopalan, who is known for being in the camera department of ‘Agent Vinod’. The film is written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma.
The shoot of the film began on July 11 and is expected to release in January 2023. Meanwhile, John Abraham will be seen in his upcoming film ‘Ek Villian Returns’, along with co-stars Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. The film is set to release on July 29 in cinemas. On the other hand, Manushi Chhillar recently made her Bollywood debut alongside Akshay Kumar in ‘Samraat Prithviraj’.
