New Delhi: SS Rajamouli’s super-hit directorial ‘RRR’ is on an award winning spree, with Critics Choice Award ceremony being the latest.
The RRR won awards in 2 categories at the Critics Choice Award on Monday, one for Best Song ‘Naatu Naatu’ and other one in the Best Foreign Film category.
Days ago, Naatu Naatu song winning Best Original Score at the Golden Globe Awards grabbed global headlines.
Meanwhile, after receiving the top honour for best foreign film, director Rajamouli gave a motivational speech, which is bound to make Indians feel their chest swell in pride.
In his acceptance speech, Rajamouli dedicated the Critics Choice Award to all the women of his life including his mother, wife & daughters.
“To all the women in my life, my mother, she thought school education was overrated and she encouraged me to read comics and storybooks and she encouraged my creativity. My wife, Rama, the designer of my life. To my daughters, they don’t do anything but just their smile is enough to light my life up.”

It was Rajamouli’s concluding lines that drew maximum cheers from the audience.
“Finally to my motherland, India, Bharat, Mere Bharat Mahan, Jai Hind,” said Rajamouli.
His moving speech is winning hearts and receiving many reactions on the social media. People are hailing him not just as blockbuster director but also as a ‘man with a difference.’
Music composer Keeravaani’s 1st response on Critics Award
Music Composer MM Keeravaani was also brimming with joy over 2nd big award to his song. He expressed gratitude to the jury and full team of RRR.
