New Delhi: Mili was one of the highly anticipated movies to watch for. With Janhvi Kapoor starrer flick hitting the screens this weekend, the jury is out on whether the young Kapoor stands out with her performance or just fizzles out like recent Bollywood flicks.
The movie is about 24-year-old girl who flies to Canada in search of good life but lands up in life-threatening situation. The movie plot is simple – Mili gets caught inside the cold storage of an eatery outlet and how she comes out of it alive & safe is the whole story. It is about the determination & grit of the girl on how manages to survive inside the cold storage & comes out alive.
The movie is a survival drama, based on true incident. Sunny Kaushal & Manoj Pahwa are also part of the film.
What makes the movie different is that this survival drama revolves around daily life & doesn’t show any extraordinary challenges like actor getting stranded in sea or a deserted island.
Cinebuffs who thronged the theatres have started reviewing the movie as well as Janhvi’s portrayal of the character Mili. Most of them are full of praise for the actress while some rated it as just one-time watch.
