New Delhi: Renowned actress Anushka Shetty’s latest rom-com Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty is enjoying a dream rum at the Box office.
The Naveen Polishetty starrer, which is almost in the third week of its theatrical run, is continuing to pull an impressive number s of moviegoers in the cinemas and has minted over ₹ 24.5 crores at the ticket window of the domestic markets in its 15 days-long box office journey so far.
Its intriguing storytelling, captivating acting, and impactful dialogues have also helped it land in decent profits in the overseas markets with almost 2 million coming from the US alone. Its total 15-day collection now stands at a whopping total of ₹ 43.35 crores.
A huge credit for generating MSMP’s buzz amongst the fans goes to Its lead actor, Naveen Polishetty who left no stone unturned in promoting the Romantic-comedy by appearing in numerous media interviews ahead of its release on 7 September.
Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’s OTT release
As per a recent report published by OTTplay, Digital platform Netflix has purchased the film’s rights by cracking a handsome deal with its makers.
While the movie’s OTT debut on the said platform was supposed to happen on 2nd October, its exceptional receiving at the Box office has reportedly compelled its makers to postpone the flick’s scheduled OTT release by 7 more days. Now, it will. be interesting to see if Netflix agrees to the filmmakers’ demand to postpone MSMP’s digital debut by one more week or not.
