New Delhi: Tollywood comedy drama Narayana & Co hit the cinemas back in June 2023.
The movie, made with a budget of ₹ 4 crores ended its theatrical run by making a mediocre collection of less than 1 crore at the Box office. After failing to impress moviegoers on the big screens, the film is now all set to try its luck on OTT this month and has arrived on platform Amazon Prime Video. After Amazon Prime cracked a successful deal with Narayana & Co.’s makers and bagged its digital rights, the film is now available on their digital streaming Platform Amazon Prime Video where it can be watched right now with a basic subscription to the said OTT platform.

The movie’s cast includes actors like Sudhakar Komakula, Aamani, and Devi Prasad in the leading roles. Besides that, it also features Pooja Kiran, Ali Reza, Jay Krishna, Saptagiri, Thotapalli Madhu, Shiva Ramachandrapu, Arati Podi, Ananth, and Ragini in supporting roles.
Its cinematography is done by Rahul Shrivastav while Srujana Adusmilli has played his part as the editor of the movie.
Narayana & Co Story
Helmed by talented director Chinna Papisetty, Narayana & Co is produced by Papisetty Brothers and Sudhakar Komakula under the banner of Papisetty Film Productions.
Its story, written by Ravi Goli, centres around the leading character Narayana and his middle-class family who ends up in deep financial crises after Narayana’s son (Subhash and Anand) suffers heavy monetary loss.
As desperation to escape the financial distress grows more and more, the troubled duo agrees to an illegal deal in order to gain some quick money. How this deal changes their family’s life forever is the remaining of the story.

The light-hearted comedy received a mixed response from the fans and critics during its days in the cinemas. Although the fans appreciated Chinna Papisetty’s directorial comic element and dialogue writing in the first half, the second half was quite boring for the fans as it failed to engage the audience and felt dragged out unnecessarily.
While Great Andhra gave the film a below-average 1.5/5 rating, IMDb provided it with a decent 7.8/10 rating on their portal. Its trailer, which was released by Vishvak Sen on June 22 received over 1,400,000 views and garnered 12K likes on video streaming platform YouTube.
