Netflix Releases in January 2022: Latest OTT web series, TV shows and Movies to watch (Trailers)

Lines begin to blur for a pair of undercover cops as they try to infiltrate a drug kingpin’s operation by posing as a couple.

New Delhi: The New Year 2022 kickstarted with the news of Oscar-winner Steven Knight’s gangster drama ‘Peaky Blinders’ return for a final season on digital giant Netflix.

The BBC has released the first trailer of the gang back in action. The intriguing trailer that last for one minute thirty six-second sees Cillian Murphy back in the game with Tommy Shelby, seeking a narrative for the Birmingham-based show to finally put a rest.

The streaming giant is sparking the fresh year on a slightly different pattern from the previous years. Last year, it had delivered back-to-back Netflix original content throughout the 2021. Though this year, the platform will be brimming with the non-original content at the larger scale.

1. Munich – The Edge of War

In a small New York town, a haunted detective hunts for answers about perplexing crimes while wrestling with his own demons. Created by Derek Simonds the thriller features Bill Pullman, Jessica Biel, and Carrie Coon among others.

5. Chosen

Release Date: January 27A 17-year-old girl finds her world turned upside down when she and her friends discover the disturbing truth lurking in their quiet Danish town. Created by Christian Potalivo, the movie features Malaika Berenth Mosendane, Andrea Heick Gadeberg, and Andreas Dittmer among others.

6. The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

10. Yeh Kaali Kaali Akhein

Release Date: January 14

Relentlessly pursued by a powerful politician’s daughter who will do anything to make him hers, a man slips down a dark, risky path to reclaim his life. Created by Sidharth Sengupta, the series features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, and Anchal Singh in lead roles.

11. The Royal Treatment
