New Delhi: Indian actress Rashmika Mandana is celebrating her birthday today. The actress works in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films. She is currently the most successful and one of the highest paid actresses of the film industry. She was last seen with Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor in the film ‘Animal’. The film broke all the records at the box office and was a block buster. She is currently busy in the promotions and shoot of ‘Pushpa 2’ which is scheduled to release around August 2024.

Rashmika hails from a Kodava Hindu family. Her father owns a Coffee Estate and mother is a housewife. She also has a younger sister. Her family struggled financially during her childhood and struggled to pay rent. Rashmika studied in Coorg Public School and many a times she was misunderstood due to communication challenges. She has received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Journalism and English Literature at M S Ramaiah College of Arts Science and Commerce in Bengaluru.

Rashmika made her acting debut with a Romantic Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’. The film was a huge success and became the highest grossing films of the year. She then started working for the Telugu cinema and worked in a comedy drama opposite Naga Shourya. The film was a commercial success. She was then seen the film ‘Geetha Govindam’ opposite Vijay Deverakonda and the film was a super hit and made over 132 crores.
Rashmika’s Personal Life
The actress was dating her co-star Rakshit Shetty who had worked with her in the film ‘Kirik Party’. They also got engaged in 2017 in a private ceremony. However both ended their relationship citing personal differences. She is currently dating the South Superstar Vijay Deverakonda, but the two have never accepted their relationship in front of media or public.
