New on OTT: The Witcher, Decoupled, Hawkeye Finale and more

New Delhi: As the year is coming to an end, over-the-top platforms are gearing up to bid adieu to the exceptional year with much awaited finales and sequels of highly popular movies and shows.

With just a few days left of the year 2021, Marvel Studios’ greatest archer ‘Hawkeye’ has his target set on getting home to his family for Christmas. In the latest Disney+ Hotstar series, starring Jeremy Renner as ‘Hawkeye’s finale is scheduled to be screened in the last week of December.

Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen starring and Emmy nominated series Arya will be returning on the digital platform will an action packed bash.

Here, we’ve brought you top 10 OTT releases to stream throughout the month: 

1. Aarya 2

Family is everything, and that’s what Sushmita Sen is clearly conveying with her fiery role in ‘Aarya 2’. The trailer of Ram Madhvani’s directorial gave us glimpses of Sushmita’s action-packed sequences. ‘Aarya 2’ will drop on Disney+ Hotstar on December 10.

2. Aranyak 

The show that marks OTT debut of actor Raveena Tandon, revolves around the story of a local cop Kasturi digging up skeletons and reviving a forgotten myth of a bloodthirsty, serial killing entity in the forest after a foreign teenage tourist disappears in a misty town. The show will stream on Netflix from Dec 10.

3. Money Heist Season 5 (Volume 2)

Money Heist’ is Netflix’s most successful Spanish series to date, and was its top non-English-language foray until the French series ‘Lupin’ debuted in December, reported Variety. Season 5 part 2 is promises high on action.

 

4. Decoupled

Helmed by Hardik Mehta, ‘Decoupled’ is a story of a separating couple navigating through their marriage. R. Madhavan and Surveen Chawla-starrer ‘Decoupled’ is scheduled to release on Netflix on December 17.

5. The Witcher (Season 2)

The web-series starring Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan is about Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster-hunter for hire, journeys toward his destiny in a turbulent world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. The series will premiere on digital giant Netflix on Dec 17.
