Nora Fatehi steals the show with her dazzling performance at FIFA World Cup Finals

New Delhi: All eyes were set on Nora Fatehi during the FIFA World CUP finals as the actor-dancer dazzled the stage with her performance of the Light The Sky song. She teamed up with Iraqi Rahma Riad, Moroccan Manal, and Emirati singer Balqees.

Nora became the only performer from the Indian film industry in the FIFA 2022 closing ceremony at the Lusail Stadium.

As Nora took the centre of the stage and performed her verse in Hindi, all Indian fans in the crowd began to chant ‘Nora… Nora’. The entire stadium was lightened up with dazzling lights.

FIFA World cup 2022 remained significant for Indian film industry stars. Apart from Noha, Deepika Padukone became the first entertainer to unveil the world cup trophy. Shah Rukh Khan also became the highlight of the final as he joined Wayne Rooney from the official studio.

Earlier, Nora poured her heart out while talking about being a part of the FIFA 2022 anthem Light The Sky. Nora called the experience of performing at the FIFA world cup stadium ‘surreal.’ Calling herself ‘Regular Shmegular,’ she expressed her pride at coming this far and ascending to the international arena.

Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, also posed with Nora in the stadium during the final match. He gifted Nora a pair of custom-made FIFA-themed sneakers.

The final match of FIFA 2022 was an electrifying competition between France and Argentina. Argentina emerged as the winner by 4-2 on penalties.
