New Delhi: Just days after deepfake video of Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna created a storm on the social media, a new morphed image of Katrina Kaif has surfaced online. Katrina Kai’s digitally altered image from her upcoming flick Tiger 3 has started circulating on the internet.
The image is actually a screen-grab taken from the trailer of Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 movie and has been morphed to make it more sensual & sexual.
This is second incident of deepfake video/picture taking the social media by storm. First incident of Rashmika Mandanna’s morphed image drew strong reactions from many celebrities, with Big B even calling for legal action.
How Katrina’s deepfake pic differs from original image
The original image as portrayed in the Tiger 3 trailer shows Katrina engaged in a towel fight with a Hollywood stuntwoman. Both are seen in towel and remain one of the engaging moment.
In the edited/morphed version, the actress could be seen wearing a low-cleavage white top and a matching bottom inspite of adorned in towel.

The altered image, apparently created with AI tools, shows the actress in same pose but it makes the picture more vulgar & sensous.
Many users spotted the difference in two pictures and flagged the deepfake image. Some called it utterly shameful by cunning elements while others demanded action. Some others underlined the scary fallout of digital fudging.

Rashmika’s deepfake VIDEO shocked people
Rashmika Mandanna found herself in the centrestage of deepfake video controversy yesterday, even though she didn’t feature in it. The AI-inspired digital technology presented a morphed image of a British Indian woman to look like her. Rashmika’s face was joined with the torso of British Indian woman, leaving her fans & acquaintances shocked & worried.
Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan called for legal action after morphed video circulating online. Rashmika Mandanna also reacted and called it “extremely scary”.

Later it emerged that the original footage was of British Indian influencer named Zara Patel. Her face was digitally replaced with that of Rashmika Mandanna, using deepfake technology.
