OTT New Releases : What’s new on Amazon Prime Video in October 2021

Joaquin Phoenix stars in the Amazon Studios drama about a vigilante who rescues missing girls from human traffickers.

New Delhi : October’s new arrivals to Prime Video are likely to elicit cheers, laughs and perhaps a few screams. The cheers come for new seasons from The Man in the High Castle and Lore, as well as a new series from the creator of Mad Men. Toss in a couple of high-concept comedies and a pair of horror films just in time for Halloween and you have a nice bagful of video treats.

Sardar Udham Singh

Release Date – October 15

The film is a biopic on freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India in 1940, to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

The Man in the High Castle (Season 3)

Release Date – October 5

Starring – Alexa Davalos, Rupert Evans, Luke Kleintank 

It has been a long wait, but fans of the mind-bending, visually beautiful Prime Original series will be rewarded for their patience. The third season finds the Resistance coming out of the shadows as the Nazis build a new weapon.

The Romanoffs

From Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner comes this Prime Original drama series. Each of the eight episodes tells a separate story about people who believe they are descendants of Russia’s last royal family.

Lore (Season 2)

The Prime Original series brings a second season of creepiness to fans of horror and history. Lore digs into tales of the supernatural to find the origins of some of our scariest legends.

The Strangers: Prey at Night
