New Delhi: After running successfully on the Big Screen, Siddharth’s ‘Chithha’ will soon be available on the OTT platforms. However the movie was supposed to be out by the end of October, but its release was delayed due to unknown reasons. Disney + Hotstar holds the rights to the movie. According to sources, the movie will be available for streaming after completion of 42 days in theatres. However, its official confirmation is still awaited. According to the present Industry rules, all Tamil films come for streaming after finishing 42 days in theatres. The reason for the delay is still unclear. The film received a positive response from the audience and managed to become a huge commercial success.
Actor Siddharth recently thanked his fans for their gratitude who watched the film on the big screen. ‘Thank you to the Universe for helping us make the film to all those who had access to the film and chose to see it in the cinema. ‘Chithha’ in Tamil means Father’s younger brother. The film is a story about an uncle and his 8-year-old niece. The movie deals with the issue of child sexual abuse and sexual violence against children is far more than what people can think. Apart from Siddharth, the other star cast of the film includes Nimisha Sajayan and Anjali Nair. Directed by S U Arun Kumar, the story of the movie revolves around the main actor which is Siddharth and his niece who goes missing.

After long, a film on child abuse depicting emotions, pain and Societal fear has managed to win the hearts of the audience, especially the character played by Siddharth who is playing as Easwaran. The child Sahasra Shree has done a fantastic job and ensure to dwell in her character very well.
