New Delhi: Bollywood diva Parineeti Chopra and her AAP politician fiance Raghav Chadha are soon going to exchange their wedding vows with each other.
The famed couple will tie the knot with an intimate wedding ceremony in Udaipur’s luxurious Leela Palace on 24th September that will be attended only by the families’ close friends, relatives, celebrities, and special guests. A few days back, a picture of the couple’s leaked wedding card also went viral on social media.
With less than a week remaining in the highly awaited wedding ceremony of Parineei and Raghav, several intriguing and surprising details about their marriage preparations are being reported by media outlets. One such report, published by E Times, has claimed that the duo is going to begin their marriage celebration by playing a cricket match in Delhi.
Chopra’s vs. Chadha’s
As per the report, the match will be played between the teams of Bride Parineeti (Chopra’s) and Groom Raghav (Chaddha’s). It will be only after the conclusion of the match that both the families will depart for Udaipur’s Leela Palace to perform pre-marriage festivities ahead of the main nuptial ceremonies that will be held in Taj Lake. Following the completion of wedding rites, the family will also organise a special reception exclusively for their close friends and relatives at around 8:30 PM.
200 special guests
Just like Raghav-Parineeti’s engagement, their Big-fat Punjabi wedding ceremony is also likely to be a white-themed event with a touch of the 1990’s edition. Around 200 eminent figures from the film industry as well as Raghav’s political party AAP will be marking their presence in the grand wedding. Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab’s CM Bhagwaan Singh Mann and Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra along with her Husband Nick Jonas are some of the top figures that are expected to attend the couple’s grand wedding ceremony.
After the completion of the marriage, both the families will also welcome their friends and colleagues in another hospitality reception that will be held in Chandigarh’s Taj on 30 September.
