New Delhi: Actress Parineeti Chopra and her AAP politician fiance Raghav Chadha are all set g to be the man and bride today. The power couple is merely hours away from exchanging their wedding vows in the presence of friends and family at Udaipur’s lavish Leela Palace.
Post their Pheras and Vidai, the couple will also be throwing a fun-filled 90s-like party with popular DJ Sumit taking charge of playing the beats.
Sumit, who is widely known for his super hit tracks like Veera and Gaddi Mashook Di, landed in the city of Lakes hours before the couple’s DJ party. On his arrival in Udaipur, Sumit also interacted with and posed for the paparazzi who encircled him outside the event’s venue and asked him what songs he would be playing at the party. Replying to them, the year-old DJ said, “It’s a party-time. ”

As mentioned in many reports as well as the timeline in the couple’s leaked wedding card, the Jaimala rasam happened around 3:30 PM followed by the Pheras at 4 PM. Now, the bride’s Vidai is shortly going to take place at or around 6:30 PM. Post the completion of the marriage, the couple will also host their guests at the reception gala that will be held in the Courtyard of Leela Palace around 8:30 PM.

Earlier today, a number of eminent figures from politics and the film industry including Delhi’s Cheif Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Singh Maan, ex-cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray (with family), well-known fashion designer Manish Malhotra, bride’s old friend Sania Mirza and her sister Anam Mirza arrived in Udaipur to be a part of Parineeti and Raghav’s Big day.

Upon their arrival at the Udaipur International Airport, the guests were welcomed with Dhol beats played by different musicians. While some of the guests were seen cruising through Lake Pichola while enjoying the boat ride, others were spotted grooving to the music to Kickstarter the espousal’s celebrations.
Earlier this week, the couple kickstarted their pre-wedding festivities with Ardas and Sufi musical night that was held at groom Raghav’s residence in Delhi. In May, the duo got engaged to each other in a white-themed ceremony at Delhi’s Kapurthala House.
