Pathaan: Protesters burn effigies of SRK after the release of “Besharam Rang” song, demand ban

The activists have alleged that the Hindu community is feeling offended by the “Besharam Rang” song’s content.

New Delhi: Hours after the release of the “Besharam Rang” song from SRK’s and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming Bollywood film “Pathaan” was released several groups started protesting and asking to boycott the film.

Now, activists of an outfit staged a protest against the upcoming Bollywood film “Pathaan” and its song “Besharam Rang” in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.

The activists of “Veer Shivaji Group” also burned the effigies of actors Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan. They also demanded to ban the upcoming film which is scheduled to be released next year in January.

The activists have alleged that the Hindu community is feeling offended by the “Besharam Rang” song’s content.

 

On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra also raised objection to Deepika Padukone’s bikini in the song of “Pathaan” and also expressed his anger towards the color of the attire. He called it “rectification”.

Meanwhile, hashtag #BoycottPathan continues to trend on social media.

SRK-Deepika Padukon’s ‘Pathaan’ is all set to hit theatres on January 25, 2023.
