New Delhi: For his new online series Poacher, Emmy-winning director Richie Mehta has enlisted the talents of Dibyendu Bhattacharya, the two Malayalam stars Roshan Mathew, and Nimisha Sajayan. Amazon Prime Video will be the first to stream the eight-part series.
The series has been in production for the last two years, and the OTT service Amazon Prime Video has announced that it will debut in February. Last year at the Sundance Film Festival, the producers had already shown the pilot, first three episodes.

Plot
According to the producers’ Sundance Film Festival summary, the plot starts when a man admits to shooting elephants at a forest department station.
Embark on an enthralling adventure in Poacher with a varied cast of characters, including personnel of the Indian Forest Service, NGOs, police officers, and caring civilians. They are committed to finding the elephant ivory poachers who committed one of the worst crimes in India, and they are willing to put their lives on the line to do it.
When and Where to Watch?
Poacher is scheduled to launch its streaming service on Amazon Prime Video on February 23, 2024, with English, Malayalam, and Hindi currently serving as its primary languages of operation.

QC Entertainment is responsible for producing Poacher, which Richie Mehta directed. Alia Bhatt serves as the executive producer for Eternal Sunshine Productions.
