Priyamani: I did feel bad about why i was not cast with the A-List actors

New Delhi: South actress Priyamani enjoys a strong fan base in the Indian Film Industry. The actress has managed to build a successful career and has given many hit films. Despite giving many commercial hits in Tollywood, the actress was never seen opposite any popular actor of the Telugu and Tamil cinema. The actress shared some candid thoughts during an interview and said, “still does not know what the exact reason is.”“In all honesty, I am not trying to find fault with anybody, but I have heard from a lot of people that they don’t want to cast me opposite them or along with them or in the film because… probably of the fact that ‘I might eat them up’.”

However she feels satisfied with her films and her contribution towards the cinema as an actor. She also added that “I don’t believe that you will be seen only when you act with a lot of A-listers. It has its advantages also. Somewhere, I did feel bad about why I was not cast with the A-list actors, though half of them are well acquainted,”

The south beauty has also worked with King Khan in the film ‘Jawan’ and she also shared her feelings towards the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan during an interview to India Today, “I am ready. If he (SRK) calls me tomorrow and says, ‘Come and work with me’, I will go. I am that ready. I am going to give up everything and go if I get the opportunity to work opposite Mr Khan. You guys (media) have the power, please manifest it,”

Priyamani is currently excited with her performance in the film ‘Maidaan’ which has received positive response at the box office. The film is directed by Amit Sharma featuring Ajay Devgan as a Protagonist.
