New Delhi: South Indian film director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary found himself in the eye of storm on Tuesday, as he kissed the actress Mannara Chopra without her consent, leaving the latter shocked and red-faced at the public event.
Mannara Chopra is the cousin sister of leading Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. She was taken off guard at the event. While she and the film crew along with director Ravi Kumar Chowdary went out on promotion drive for their upcoming film ‘Thiragabadara Saami’.
While Mannara and director were posing for the cameras, latter made an impromptu kiss on actress cheeks. As she didn’t expect this, she was left baffled and dumbfounded by director’s objectionable & uncouth gesture.
In the viral video, the actress could be seen posing for the cameras. Moments later, director joins her and puts his arm around her shoulder. While the duo again smile for the camera, director suddenly plants a kiss on her cheeks.

While the actress Mannara Chopra tried to hide her discomfort but that became evident from her face and also drew many reactions from netizens as the video went viral on social media.
Netizens roast director for planting kiss
The Telugu director is facing lot of public ire & wrath for his indecent and loose behavior during the film promotional event. Some users called him a ‘creepy & cringy figure’ while others advocated action against the director for physical overtures. Some others showed empathy with the actress for what she went through.
Ravi Chowdary is known for his films in Telugu film industry. His some films starred popular actors including Nandamuri Balkrishna, Gopichand and Sai Dharam Tej.
