Pushpa rocked BO collections while 83 fizzled out: How 2 flicks fared in earnings

New Delhi: Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise has taken all over the box office and OTT streams, on the other hand, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s most anticipated ’83’ has failed to impress the audience.

However, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Pushpa’ has been loved in South India as well as in North India as its Hindi version has been able to mint over Rs 80 crore at the box office and is still running in theatres.

Taran Adarsh, who is an Indian film critic and trade analyst shared the movie’s box office earnings, he wrote, #Pushpa is slowing down, but the job is done… A big, fat total in the pandemic era clearly indicates the love this film has got from moviegoers… [Week 4] Fri 1.95 cr, Sat 2.56 cr, Sun 3.48 cr, Mon 1.10 cr. Total: ₹ 81.58 cr. #India biz.

And guess what, Pushpa Hindi is coming to Amazon Prime Video on January 14. Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce its arrival, he wrote, “‘PUSHPA’ HINDI ARRIVES ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO THIS FRIDAY… #PushpaHindi will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this Friday [14 Jan 2022]… The film – starring #AlluArjun and #FahadhFaasil – is directed by #Sukumar. #PushpaOnPrime (sic).”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s most anticipated movie of 2021 ’83’ has failed to bring audiences to the big screen.

According to trade analysts, 83 has managed to enter the Rs 100 crore club and its box office collection recording has been, Week 1-71.87 crores, week 2- 25.13 crores, Week 3- Day 15- 0.80 crores Day 16- 1.29 crores Day 17- 1.47 crores, which makes its Lifetime collection of 100.56 crores.

It looks like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Pushpa put up a big competition in front of the sports drama.
