New Delhi: ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ hit the cinemas on July 1 and gets a positive response from both the audience and the critics. The film is the first directorial venture for R. Madhavan, who is also playing the lead in the film. The plot follows the life of ISRO Scientist Nambi Narayanan who was framed for being a spy and arrested in 1994. Though free, he is still fighting for justice.
In the film, Madhavan can be seen playing the role of Nambi Narayanan along with Simran who plays Meena Narayanan. The film also features Gulshan Grover as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Rajit Kapoor as Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. The film has been released in six languages namely, Hindi, Tamil, English, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film was also featured at 75th International Canned Film Festival.
Just after the release, the audience poured in with reactions on Twitter. Fans got excited as Shah Rukh Khan was seen on screen with a cameo in the film.
