New Delhi: Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha officially turned man and wife after tying the knot in an enchanting wedding ceremony at Udaipur’s The Leela palace on 24th September.
The couple’s eagerly awaited espousal, which kick-started earlier today, commenced with both bride and groom performing the scared phera ceremony in the presence of their family and friends following which, the bride’s Vidai ceremony began at around 7 PM and a video of the same is now going viral on the internet.

In the video, captured from outside the lavish wedding venue Leela Palace Hotel, songs from Ranveer Kapoor’s movie Ye Jawani hai Deewani and Kabira can be heard playing. The video also shows Leela Palace adorned with glowing golden decorative lights.
Parineeti and Raghav will now be hosting their guest in a reception gala which is set to take place in The Leela Palace’s courtyard at 9:15 PM. As per the reports, the theme of the lavish wedding was ‘Divine Promises- A Pearl White Indian Wedding’

The newly married couple opted for a close-curtained intimate wedding ceremony with a minimalistic ivory theme. While Parineeti looked gorgeous in a Manish Malhotra-designed wedding Lehenga, Raghav opted for an Off-white Shervani designed by ace fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva.

Earlier, several eminent names from politics, sports and the movie industry including Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal, cricketer Harbhajan Singh (with family), Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Uddhav Thackeray (with family), ace designer Manish Malhotra, former tennis player Sania Mirza, and Anam Mirza were seen arriving at the wedding venue to be being a part of Raghav and Parineeti’s merry espousal.

As the guests landed at the airport, they were received by the host families with Dhol beats played by different musicians. Later, many of the guests were seen cruising through Lake Pichola enjoying the boat ride while others were spotted shaking their legs on the music to kickstarter the wedding celebrations.

Parineeti’s cousin and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who remained absent from her sister’s big day celebrations due to her busy schedule, also penned down an adorable wish for the bride ahead of her marriage on Saturday
Taking to her Instagram, the citadel actress wished Parineeti and wrote. “I hope your happiness on your special day matches the joy in this picture, my dear cousin, Always send you loads of love.”

As per a report published by News 18, the newly married couple will now welcome their guests in 2 Separate reception dinners in Delhi and Mumbai respectively. While the reception scheduled in the National capital will host a number of politicians from Raghav’s political party AAP, the One to be held in Mumbai will be attended by Parineeti and her close friends from the movie industry who will all come together to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter of the actress’ life.
Previously, the couple kickstarted their pre-wedding festivities with Ardas and Sufi musical night that was held at groom Raghav’s residence in Delhi earlier this week. On May 13th, they got engaged after exchanging rings with each other in a dreamy affair at Delhi’s elite Kapurthala House .

What’s next for Parineeti?
On her work front, the newly married bride will be soon sharing the screen with popular Punjabi Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming movie Chamkila. The movie story centres around the lives of two iconic Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila and it is likely to make it to be big screens by 2024. Other than that, Parineeti will also feature alongside Akshay Kumar in his upcoming movie Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue which is slated for its release on 6th October.
