New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra and his aide Ryan Tharp were on Tuesday sent to police custody till 23rd July. They were brought to Mumbai’s Esplanade Court this morning.
Kundra was arrested yesterday while Tharp was apprehended today in connection with a case relating to the production of pornographic films. Raj was produced before the Court on Tuesday afternoon.
“He appears to be the key conspirator. We have sufficient evidence regarding this,” Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale had said in a statement.
After the arrest of Raj Kundra, some leaked WhatsApp chats have surfaced on the internet which reveals that Raj has earned a lot from the business of making porn movies. Chats between Kundra and Pradeep Bakshi who lives in the UK how the transaction of money was made.
A Whatsapp group named H Accounts whose admin is Raj can be seen talking about the porn business.
