Ramayan cast were approached for ‘sensuous’ photoshoots, reveals Arun Govil on The Kapil Sharma Show

New Delhi: The superhit and iconic Doordarshan’s show Ramayan is still going strong even after 33 years. Every person from 90’s still has a memory related to this show. And, now this iconic trio is reuniting on the latest episode of the Kapil Sharma Show. Actors Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhalia and Sunil Lahri from the historic show the Ramayan will reunite after 33 years and fans cannot keep calm.

Even a video of the Ramayan actors sharing gags on Kapil Sharma’s show was shared on the official Instagram handle of Sony TV.

Actor Arun Govil who is best known for playing Lord Ram in Ramayan recalled that there was a time when the cast of the show was approached for some Sensuous and racy photoshoots.

Govil said ”While we were shooting for Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, a lot of famous magazines approached us to do some sensuous photoshoots for them. They were so desperate for the photoshoot that they were ready to a huge and hefty amount of money for it. But none of us accepted their offers because we believed that our audiences look up to and rest their faith in us. We could never take the chance of breaking their trust for money”
