Ranbir Kapoor considers Anushka Sharma as his fav co-star; States they share ‘good creative energy’

In a recent interview, the actor stated that Anushka Sharma is his favourite leading lady as they both exude good creative energy.

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra where he will be sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt, his wife for the first time. During several media interviews, he said that he loved working with Alia. Surprisingly, she is not Ranbir’s favourite co-star. In a recent interview, the actor stated that Anushka Sharma is his favourite leading lady as they both exude good creative energy. The two have worked on movies like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Sanju, and Bombay Velvet.

Ranbir Kapoor has worked with several heroines in his movies. The list goes down from Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and others. He will be sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt for the first time in Brahmastra. However, when it comes to Ranbir’s favourite co-star, the honour goes to Anushka Sharma, his close friend. During a chat with Mashable, Ranbir revealed, “We’re really close friends and we annoy each other a lot, we keep fighting. We have good creative energy.”

In 2016, while speaking to Agenda Aaj Tak, Anushka Sharma also talked about her bond with Ranbir Kapoor. She stated, “I think my friendship with them is really good… more so with Ranbir Kapoor because we have recently worked together (for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and we have a great understanding. Also, when you spend your sad times together, you come closer. We have done Bombay Velvet together, which was a colossal flop. That drew us closer.”

What’s on their work front

Anushka Sharma is making a comeback after four years and also be making her digital debut with ‘Chadka Xpress.’ She was last seen in Zero, along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has a series of movies in the pipeline. He will be appearing in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva and Shamshera. Also, he has two films namely Animal and an untitled Luv Ranjan Film.
