New Delhi: The Filmfare Awards will be back with its 67th edition to celebrate the finest talents in Bollywood in title partnership with the Wolf777 news. Continuing for six decades, the coveted Black Lady will honour the best in Bollywood for the year 2021. Apart from the award distribution ceremony, there will be entertaining acts, big wins, and memorable moments.
This year, Ranveer Singh will be hosting the Filmfare Awards along with his Gunday co-star and best friend Arjun Kapoor.
While addressing the press, Ranveer said in a statement, “It’s an honour to represent and host Filmfare Awards. The legacy of the Black Lady is an integral part of the entertainment industry for the last 6 decades. This year I am extremely excited to host the show in front of a live audience. The energy in the house will be unprecedented. The team behind the show are some of the best names in the business, and together it is our endeavour to create a magical and memorable evening for our beloved audience and fraternity.”
Further, he added, “It is the first time I am hosting, I have danced a few times. Performing on stage is very different from hosting. According to me, hosting takes ten times more work, ten times the amount of time.”
Besides, actors including Kartik Aaryan, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Disha Patani will set the stage with their performances, as per the organisers.
The gala event is scheduled to take place on August 30 at Jio World Convention Centre, BKC in Mumbai. The show will be broadcasted on Colors and Colors Cineplex.
