Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna’s first look from Dulquer Salmaan’s next revealed, to play a heroic role

She will portray a heroic role as a Kashmiri Muslim girl called Afreen.

New Delhi: Happy Birthday, Rashmika Mandanna! The Pushpa actress is celebrating her 26th birthday on Tuesday and as a treat to her fans, the makers of her upcoming film have released her first look. The director Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming untitled film also stars Dulquer as Lieutenant Ram while Mrunal Thakur plays Sita. Rashmika will be playing a never seen role in this untitled bilingual film.

The makers shared a poster of her first look from the film on her birthday. She will portray a heroic role as a Kashmiri Muslim girl called Afreen. The photos introduce Rashmika walking in front of a burning car. She is seen wearing a red hijab and carrying a handbag while having strong intensity in her eyes.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Rashmika will be playing a cameo in the film. The source stated, “Rashmika’s role is very critical for the film, and the makers were extremely happy when she agreed to be a part of the project. It’s an extended cameo.”

Hanu Raghavapudi, the director of this untitled film also directed several melodrama movies such as Anadala Rakshasi and Padi Padi Leche Manasu. Vishal Chandrashekar is the music director. Revolving around a period love story set in 1964, the movie is jointly produced by Swapna Movies and Vyjayanti Movies.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna rose to fame after the success of Pushpa: The Rise, where she starred beside Allu Arjun. She will be soon making her Bollywood debut alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu. She has Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye in the pipeline. Recently, it was announced that she will be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
