New Delhi: Bollywood’s current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan won several hearts through his exceptional acting skills. Now, once again the actor hit the headlines as he rejected a whooping Rs 8-9 crore deal to endorse a pan-masala advertisement.
The decision by the Shehzada actor has brought senior stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Ajay Devgn amongst other in the eyes of the critics as they previously promoted a harmful substance like tobacco.
While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the source said, “That’s right. That boy Kartik Aaryan has said no to around Rs. 8-9 crore offer to endorse paan masala.” “Saying no to such big money is not easy. But Kartik is conscious of his responsibility as a youth icon.”
The source also stated that Kartik is a man of “principles” unlike others who went after the “grab.”
Several fan pages of Kartik have been praising his decision to reject the offer to endorse a pan-masala ad. Besides, celeb pap Viral Bhayani also posted the report on his Instagram handle. He wrote, “@KartikAaryan rejects 9 Crore for a Paan-Masala advertisement!”

Earlier, Akshay Kumar also joined Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan in an ad for a tobacco firm. The actor received a slam from his fans which made him eventually issue an apology.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan will be next seen in Shehzada and Freddy with Alaya F. He will also star in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani.
