Release of ‘Fauji Calling’ delayed, now coming on 12th March

New Delhi: The release of ‘Fauji Calling’, the film whose trailer was launched by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh himself has been delayed to 12th March, 2021. ‘Fauji Calling’ is a film that showing a family struggling to cope up with the loss of a family member who is a soldier. The film talks about the time around Pulwama attack.

The film’s cast consists of Sharman Joshi, Bidita Bag, Ranjha Vikram Singh, Mugdha Godse along with Zarina Wahab and Shishir Sharma.

During the trailer launch on 26th January Singh said,” I want to congratulate the team of Fauji Calling. It will be a source of inspiration for youth and it will be successful in invoke feelings of patriotism. I am sure of this. This film tells the story of a soldier and his family. A soldier’s family plays a big role in his bravery and I am sure the people of the country will like the film. It will invoke the feeling of respect for Jawans. I would wish the best for the film.”

This is Sharman Joshi’s latest after his comeback performance as Parmeshwar Naidu in ‘Mission Mangal’ along with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu and various other actors. The film was a big hit at box office collecting more than Rs.200 crores. Sharman even said that he is back in the game because of ‘Mission Mangal’.

Sharman Joshi has two films on back to back Fridays, his next ‘Mumbai Saga’ is also releasing on 19th March. In this film he will essay the role of an inspector along with John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi and Suniel Shetty in prominent roles.
