New Delhi: This year’s most eagerly anticipated movie Adipurush is just two weeks away from its grand release.
Ahead of its much-hyped release, its team has recently made an interesting statement about leaving one seat in every theater unsold and unoccupied as a symbol of respect for Lord Hanuman and people’s religious beliefs.
Here’s what the statement read:
While many are praising this initiative taken by team Adipurush, a few netizens are also trolling the makers of epic drama for the same by making memes and jokes about it on Twitter.
Taking a dig at the Adipurush team, one Twitter user said that her religious feeling has been hurt by the maker’s decision as they have not left seats vacated for Lord Rama and Sita Mata.
Just one seat? What about Shri Ram & Sita maa? Isn’t it an insult to Hanuman Bhakts to ignore His Lord?
My religious sentiments are hurt?

Another user took to Twitter saying “Such a bad decision, doesn’t makes any sense. ”

A third user brutality mocked the moviemaker’s decision saying that they should dedicate seats to the entire Vanar sena as well.

As per Puranas, Lord Hanuman is present virtually everywhere and will remain here forever, even after the end of Kaliyuga..
So you are expecting hanuman ji to sit physically in some allocated seat in all the theatres…Cut the crap!!— Chaitu485 (@Chaitu485) June 5, 2023
Are footwear allowed inside? ?Doing all these gymnastics promotions creating a clown out of themselves. Seat for Ashwathama next in Mahabarata?
