New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh was recently spotted with his wife Genelia D Souza at a recent event held in Mumbai.
During the event, the actress was captured by the paparazzi donned in a navy blue dress with her hands placed on her belly and this was all it took for netizens to believe that the couple was pregnant and rumours about the same started emerging on the internet shortly after.

In a matter of hours, several pictures of the couple started making rounds on the internet and fans began to claim that Ritesh and Genelia are soon expecting their third child together.
Commenting about the same one fan wrote, “Pregnant??????” Another said, “She is expecting the third kid.”
“Good news on the way? riteishd geneliad”, wrote a third fan.
Ritesh Deshmukh dismisses pregnancy rumours
However, fans’ hopes of seeing the couple’s third child were soon cut short by the Dhamal actor who took to his social media and cleared the air about Genzleina’s pregnancy. Dismissing all the roumers circling about the couple’s pregnancy, Ritesh, on his Instagram wrote, “I wouldn’t mind having 2-3 more but unfortunately, this (roumers) is untrue.”
Along with his clarification, the talented actor also attached the same Viral picture of him and Genzlina that previously gave netizens a reason to believe that the couple was pregnant with their third child. Ritesh and Genelia dated each other for a few years before finally tying the knot back in 2012. They are the proud parents of two sons Rahyl (6) and Riaan (8).
What’s next for the couple?
On the professional front, Ritesh Deshmukh, who was last seen in his self-directed romantic drama Ved will make his next appearance on the big screen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror comedy Kakuda. Besides Ritesh, the film also stars talented actors including Sonakshi Sinha and Saquib Saleem. It is slated to hit the theatres on 13th October. Apart from this, the 44-year-old actor is also a part of the fifth instalment of Akshay Kumar’s popular comedy series Housefull 5.
On the other hand, Ritesh’s love lady Ganelia recently impressed the OTTians with her exceptional acting in Aleya Sen’s web series Trail Period. The comedy-drama was first premiered on the Digital platform Jio Cinema on 21 July 2023.
