The advance bookings for the weekend show an upwards trend for YRF’s film.
‘Pathaan’ is directed by Siddhartha Anand and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in major roles. The film is one of YRF’s spy thrillers where SRK plays an Indian spy standing against Jim, played by John Abraham. The film was released in the theatres on January 25.
The film got into controversy for a saffron bikini worn by Deepika in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ and became a target of the boycott trend, while the box office collection shows a completely different picture.
