New Delhi: Celebrity couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are all set to welcome a new member in their family as they announced that they are expecting a second child on Wednesday.
“We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family,” an official statement from the couple read. Expressing their gratitude to their fans and well-wishers, they said, “Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support.”
The ‘Tashan’ co-actors who tied the knot in October 2012 are parents to a three-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan.

The duo tied the knot in October 2012 and welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan, on December 20, 2016. The little munchkin went on to become a social media sensation for his cuteness.
Soha Ali Khan congratulates Saif, Kareena for ‘new addition’ to family
Terming his star brother Saif Ali Khan as the “The Quadfather,” actor Soha Ali Khan on Wednesday congratulated Saif and Kareena as they are expecting a second child together.
Soha took to Instagram to share a picture of her brother on Instagram which had ‘The Quadfather’ written over it indicating towards the fact that Saif is expected to welcome his fourth child. The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actor went on to congratulate her sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan and wished for her good health.

Kareena and Saif are all set to welcome a new member of their family as they announced that they are expecting a second child together.
Earlier on Wednesday, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor has said about the rumours surrounding her pregnancy that he hoped they were true. “I hope it’s true and if so, I would be very happy. Doh bachche toh hone chahiye (One should have two children) to give each other company,” Randhir had told The Times of India , adding that Saif and Kareena had not told him anything and he has no idea if the news is true.
In December 2019, Kareena had said, “There is no good news related to a second child in my life. Both Saif and I are happy with our kid Taimur Ali Khan. As of now, we dont have any plans for a second child. We both are very busy with our work and are trying to balance our professional and personal lives.”
On the work front, Kareena will next be opposite Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha. The film was scheduled to release this December but has been postponed to December 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
