New Delhi: Following Adipurush’s debacle, Pan-Indian Superstar Prabhas is eyeing to bounce back with his highly anticipated movie Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire.
After 4 years since its announcement, The mega-budget movie is finally on its way to arriving in the theatres and fans are eagerly waiting for the same with bated breath.
Salaar vs Jawan
Although both Jawan and Salar are making bumper advance sales at the American BO, Prabhas starrer’s buzz amongst the fans is so high that it has surpassed the collection of Shah Rukh’s movie in the US.

As per the latest figures shared by movie exhibitor Venky reviews, Prabhas’ Magnum Opus, which is still more than a month away from its release has made colossal advance bookings overseas.
By the 5th day since the opening of its advance booking, the movie has minted around ₹ 3.20 crore by selling around 13540 tickets in more than 321 locations in the United States. Besides that, the movie’s distributors have also gained 954 shows for its opening weekend.
In comparison, Shah Rukh’s Jawan has so far made around ₹ 1.90 crores via presale of 12500 tickets in 434 locations across the US. However, the Atlee directorial has roped in more than 1870 shows for its opening premier which is almost double that of the Prabhas starrer.
Salaar’s Trailer
Saalar’s advance booking numbers are bound to shatter numerous records by soaring to new heights as soon as the movie’s highly awaited trailer gets dropped by its makers.
The movie’s action packed intriguing teaser, which was dropped by the makers on 7 July is already a super hit and has garnered over 128 million views on YouTube alone. It received an overwhelmingly positive response from the fans for its action-packed scenes, hard-hitting dialogues, and Prabha’s never seen before avatar as ‘the most violent man’.

Helmed by talented director Prashanth Neel, Saalar part 1 features Prabhas alongside Shuri Hassan in the leading roles while Prithviraj plays the main antagonist. Eshwari Rao, Tinu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Garuda Ram and Sriya Reddy are also a part of the movie’s supporting cast.
The movie is slated for its release in five different languages on 28 September 2023.
