New Delhi: Salman Khan, the megastar of Bollywood is a global figure. Recently, the actor was invited to Riyadh for an award ceremony organised by Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. There, he met the American actor John Travolta and introduced himself most humbly.
A video of Salman Khan introducing himself to John Travolta is going all around the internet. In the video, Salman was seen praising the legend for his performance in the film and also introduced himself saying, “I work in the Indian film industry. My name is Salman Khan.”

Later, Salman Khan also posed with John Travolta sitting on adjacent chairs. The two smiled as they posed for the camera. They were both dressed in a black suits.
The picture was also shared by trade analyst, Girish Johar on Twitter. Fans adored the photo featuring both of them. One of the fans wrote, “Two legends,” while others showered love for Salman. “India’s biggest megastar” wrote one fan while another commented, “Salman naam kaafi hai (The name Salman is enough).”

According to the report by ZOOM, Salman Khan was given the Personality of the Year award whereas John Travolta was handed over Lifetime Achievement Award.
Every year, Salman Khan chooses his team to perform at the Da-Bangg tour. In December 2021 as well, he along with Shilpa Shetty, Saiee Manjrekar, Prabhu Deva, Sunil Grover, Kamal Khan, Guru Randhawa, and Aayush Sharma rocked the stage in Riyadh for his Da-Bangg tour.
John Travolta is well known for his roles in films such as Carrie, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Pulp Fiction, and Hairspray. He also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his acting in Get Shorty.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth alongside Aayush Sharma. He will next be seen in Tiger 3 directed by Maneesh Sharma where he will be playing the role of RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger alongside Katrina Kaif as Zoya. Reports suggest that Emraan Hashmi will play the antagonist.
