Samantha Ruth Prabhu to star opposite Salman Khan in Karan Johar’s next film

New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu is getting ready to shine in the upcoming OTT series called Citadel. Even though the series hasn’t been released yet, rumors about her next Bollywood project are already making waves. It is being reported that she will be starring in a Hindi film alongside Salman Khan.

According to reports from News18 and Siasat, there is a possibility that Samantha Ruth Prabhu might star alongside Salman Khan in an upcoming film. The actress is said to be in discussions with director Vishnuvardhan for the project, which will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Other actresses like Anushka Shetty and Trisha Krishnan are also being considered for the female lead role opposite Salman Khan. It is important to note that there hasn’t been any official confirmation from the filmmakers regarding this news at the moment.

Samantha on six months break

Samantha is currently taking a break from her work commitments. After finishing the filming of Citadel, she made the decision to step back from acting for a period of around six months. The actress wants to prioritize her health after a busy year. During this break, she is focusing on taking care of her well-being and receiving treatment. Samantha also traveled to the US recently to undergo treatment for a newly diagnosed autoimmune condition called myositis.

On Friday, the actress posted an adorable picture of herself on Instagram, wearing a pink outfit and making a pout. In the caption, she wrote a quote that said, “We have times when we thrive, and times when we go through changes, like leaves falling from trees, revealing our vulnerable selves. But with time, we grow once more.” The actress also shared on her Instagram story that she is reading the Bhagavad Gita during her break.
