
New Delhi: National Award-winning Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay was declared brain-dead. On June 12, Sanchari Vijay met with a serious road accident while he was returning home from his friend’s place. The actor was very critical and was being treated at a hospital in Bangalore.
After being declared dead, his family has decided to donate his organs.
Sanchari Vijay made his debut with the film Rangappa Hogbitna in 2011. He has appeared in a slew of Kannada films including Dasavala, Harivu, Oggarane, Killing Veerappan, Varthamana and Sipaayi among others.

Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay passes away; condolences pour in
Vijay’s younger brother Siddesh Kumar, said, “He was known to give back to society. That is why we decided to donate his organs”.The mortal remains of Vijay will be kept at Ravindra Kalakshetra campus between 8 am and 10 am on Tuesday for the public to pay their last respects. “The final rites will be conducted with full state honors at his birthplace, Panchanahalli in Kadur taluk on Tuesday,” said director Mansore.
