New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s latest Blockbuster Jawan is making all the right noises at the Box office. In just eight days of its theatrical run, the Atlee Kumar directorial has shattered numerous records and amassed a colossal sum of ₹ 688.85 crore at the BO.
Meanwhile, in a recently organised press event in Mumbai, Shah Rukh told everyone what Jawan means to him in a captivating manner. In the steller event, Shah Rukh was also joined by a number of his Jawan’s Co-Stars including Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone and director Atlee Kumar.

Explaining the essence of his movie, King Khan said “I want to tell you what Jawan is to all of us so listen to me carefully because I genuinely feel this”. I think Jawan is an emotion, Jawan is a feeling that every Indian has. Jawan is an Indian mother, Jawan is an Indian girl. Jawan is an Indian soldier and you have to understand that Jawan is many times very weak because he is all of us and many times he is ready for a fight. Jawan is many times wrong, but many many times he is also right ”

Shah Rukh-Deepika ignites the stage
Later, Shah Rukh and Deepika set the stage on fire by dancing together to Jawan’s iconic track Chaleya in the same event. While the Pathan actress donned a white saree with a black border, Shah Rukh looked charming in his black formal coat which went well with his braided hairstyle.

Jawan’s lead actress Nayanthara, who was seen grooving with Shah Rukh during the picturisation of Chaleya in the film, remained absent from the event but made a virtual appearance to express her gratitude to Shah Rukh and the fans.
