Singer Lucky Ali apologieses to Hindus for his ‘Brahmans’ remark

Soon after this thunderbolt, Ali was forced to delete the shared post and extend an apology as a reverberation.

New Delhi: Singer, songwriter and actor Lucky Ali has been encircled with a controversy over his recent Facebook post calling the origination of Brahman from the word ‘Abram’. In reaction, people criticized the famous personality. Soon after this thunderbolt, Ali was forced to delete the shared post and extend an apology as a reverberation.

In the shared post, Lucky claimed that the origin of Brahmans has come from Abram or Abraham and that the Brahmans are descendants of Ibrahim, who is considered the father of all nations. He asked why people argue without any logic.

Responding to the burgeoning controversy, the singer again came up with a post realizing the mistake. He opined, “The intentions were not to initiate resentment or distress but to unite everyone together.” Additionally, he realized his lacking power to frame what he intended. He acknowledged taking care of it ahead while considering the fury caused among Hindus.

Lucky Ali, whose original name stands Maqsood Mahmood Ali, is a renowned singer with significant popularity in the Indipop music style. With an album named ‘Sunoh’, he debuted in the Indian music industry, establishing himself as a singer. He has also delivered various playbacks, including ‘Walking All Alone’,’ Nasha Nasha’ and many more. He is also famously known for his songs ‘Oh Sanam’ and Ik Pal Ka Jeena’.

Interestingly, it’s not the first controversy leading Lucky Ali to backlash. In April last year, his Facebook post went viral claiming that ‘halal’ is only for those belonging to Islam. He even translated the Arabic term as ‘permissible’ while comparing it with what Jews call ‘Kosher’.  Besides this, Ali came under buzz for his encroached land by some mafias.
