New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer mythological drama Brahmastra has been making significant hype much before its release on Friday, September 9.

Despite vast boycott calls on the Indian side of social media, Ayan Mukerji directorial managed to collect an opening of Rs 75 crores globally on its first day, with a whopping jump in box 0ffice collection this weekend.

While giving some insights on Brahmastra’s Hindi version, film analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter handle, “Brahmāstra is SENSATIONAL at the #BO… *#Hindi* version… *#Nett* BOC… Day 1: ₹ 31.5 cr – ₹ 32.5 cr Day 2: ₹ 37.5 cr – ₹ 38.5 cr Final total could be higher… #India biz. National chains are seeing extraordinary numbers… Day 1: ₹ 17.08 cr est Day 2: ₹ 20.67 cr est”.

Further, critically analyzing the movie, he expressed disappointment with the content as he wrote, “One word review –  DISAPPOINTING. Rating: 2 stars #Brahmāstra is a king-sized disappointment… High on VFX, low on content [second half nosedives]… #Brahmāstra could’ve been a game changer, but, alas, it’s a missed opportunity… All gloss, no soul”.
