New Delhi: The director of the most successful film ‘RRR’ SS Rajamouli was in Japan with his wife for the screening of the film when he received a very special gift from one of his fans, an 83 year old woman who bought Origami canes for him and waited outside in the cold. The woman was among the audience and had come to watch the film. S S Rajamouli went speechless after receiving the gift and met the woman and even clicked pictures with her. He also wrote a thankful message, which reads “In Japan, they make origami cranes &gift them to their loved ones for good luck& health. This 83yr old woman made 1000 of them to bless us because RRR made her happy. She just sent the gift and was waiting outside in the cold. Some gestures can never be repaid. Just grateful (sic).”

The Twitter handle of the movie ‘RRR’ also shared pictures of the Japanese audience enjoying the film in theatres. The audience also made a special card for the director S S Rajamouli and other actors in the film as a welcome note.
On the 752nd day since the original theatrical release and the 513th day since the Japan theatrical release, we are witnessing the love from 6000kms away, our hometown Hyderabad, India.

The film stars Jr NTR and RamCharan in the lead roles. The movie also received an Oscar award for the best original song for ‘Naatu Naatu’. Apart from this, the movie was a block buster hit in India and across the globe.
