New Delhi: Bombay Begums is a story that revolves around five women across generations wrestle with desire, ethics, personal crises and vulnerabilities to own their ambition in contemporary urban India. As glass ceilings are shattered, and hearts are broken, difficult choices have to be made. And as each woman strives to find her own truth, they find in each other an unexpected understanding and the sliver of a bond.
It has been produced by Endemol Shine India, Endeavor Content, Chernin Entertainment and directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and Bornila Chatterjee. The cast of the movie includes Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Plabita Borthakur, Aadhya Anand, Rahul Bose, Danish Husain, Vivek Gomber and Imaad Shah

Bombay Begums deserves complete credit for showing and bringing the light on sexual orientation. It is totally not being portrayed as a rebellion or an experimental phase phase because she shifted from a small town to a big city.

It is not a perfect show may how effort have been put by all the artist but it certainly nailed the brief when it comes on making strong characters.
