Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal announce wedding on 23rd June, couple shares digital invitation

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have finally made the official announcement of their marriage by sharing a digital wedding invitation. The couple is all set to tie the knot on 23rd June 2024. The news of the wedding was shared through a digital invitation card. The wedding card has an audio message also shared by the couple which talks about their plans from a 7 year courtship and getting married. In the message they can be heard inviting their friends and family members to attend their marriage.

The couple have been seeing each other for over seven years now. Some reports also say that they moved in together in 2023 and will formally tie the knot on the 23rd of June. However the duo has always kept their relationship private, but the two have been spotted together many a times enjoying and hanging out with each other.

Sonakshi and Zaheer have worked together in the film Double XL and have also done a music video together titled as ‘Blockbuster’.

Sonakshi was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’. The film did amazingly well at the box office and sonakshi’s role was loved by the audience. The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari etc.

Sonakshi is the daughter of veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha, he has also served as a member of Parliament of the Bhartuya Janata party. Before becoming an actor Sonakshi was into Costume designing and has also designed costumes for the film ‘Mera Dil leke Dekho’ in 2005.
