New Delhi: The intriguing trailer of Milan Lutharia’s much-awaited digital debut series Sultan of Delhi is finally out on social media.
This time, the talented director, who is well-received for his exceptional direction in the super hit Once Upon a Time franchise, has arrived with yet another gangster thriller that will entertain the audiences on a digital platform instead of the big screens.
‘Sultan Of Delhi’ Trailer Out
The episode-based series, inspired by Arnab Roy’s iconic novel Sultan of Delhi: Ascension will arrive on the digital platform Disney+ Hotstar which has already enthralled the fans by dropping its compelling action-packed trailer with a caption that reads ‘ “Har cheez ki ek keemat hoti hai, phir wo zinda rehne ki ho, ya sultan banne ki”

As the 2:07 minutes long trailer commences, we see an ambitious young man (Tahir Raj Bhasin), who is proud to have survived the horrors of 1947’s partition of India and is on his way to becoming the unchallenged kingpin of the 1960s Underworld. The rest of the trailer impactfully depicts an unforgiving struggle for power full of ambition, desires, betrayal, lust, mind games, and a lot of guns and gore.
The compelling action-packed trailer, which is Set in the backdrop of 1960s Delhi, takes a deep dive inside the dangerously yet fascinating world of classic era gangsters of the 1960s and reminds all of us about Milan’s 2010 Super hit gangster drama Once Upon a Time in Mumbai that featured Emram Hashmi and Ajay Devgan in the leading roles.
Gorgeous Mauni Roy’s occasional appearance in the trailer further enhances the viewer’s curiosity for the upcoming web series which will stream on Disney+ Hotstar next month.

Helmed under the skillful guidance of Milan Luthria, Sultan of Delhi boasts a stellar cast of Tahir Raj Bhasin, Nishant Dahiya, Anupriya Goenka, Harleen Sethi, Mahreen Peerzada, and Vinay Pathak in important roles. Television sensation Mauni Roy, who was last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Bhramastra Part One: Shiva, is also a part of the upcoming gangster drama that is produced by Reliance Entertainment and written & co-directed by Supran S V Verma. It is all set for its grand release on Digital Platform Disney+ Hostar where its first episode will stream on October 13.
