New Delhi: Bollywood diva Rhea Chakraborty, who was recently seen in the 19th season of the popular MTV reality show Roadies: Karam Ya Kand, recently attended India Today conclave.
While interacting with the Conclave, Rhea not only spoke about her relationship with her former Boyfriend and late artist Sushant Singh Rajput but also opened up about his mental health-related issues and how being blamed for his death adversely affected her life.
In the same event, the actress also talked about the mindset of people’s mindset of refusing to believe that one can be unhappy and depressed despite being rich successful and famous.
Speaking about the same, Rhea said, “So when they have somebody who has fame and money, they go like ‘he is depressed toh main kyu kar raha/rahi hu (what am I doing)?’ that is what doesn’t sit well with people. Mental health is completely misunderstood or is slowly getting understood because of this it is very difficult for people to digest the fact that someone who is rich and famous could be mentally affected and depressed.”
Sushant’s sister’s cryptic response
Rhea’s remark about Sushant Singh Rajput’s mental condition didn’t go well with the late actor’s sister Shweta Kitri who immediately took a jab at the actress by responding to her with a cryptic note on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Shweta dropped a cryptic post which read, “Blaming the person who has passed who can’t defend himself anymore. I wonder what answer will you give to your conscience! My Bhai had a pure heart and he is beating in the hearts of millions. We don’t feel the need to come out and say anything because people can feel the truth.
Bhai was, Bhai is and will always be our pride! The kind of love he has stirred in every heart. Will never die!! We will relentlessly fight for his justice.”

Agreeing with Shweta, one internet user wrote, “Very rightly said di. She is again called for a whitewash and another failed attempt to make her look nice. She completely destroyed Sushant’s life & she will face her karma. Sushant never even imagined bad for anyone not even in his dreams and that is why we are connected here. Sushant and Reha
For the uninformed, Sushant was in a relationship with Rhea during the time he took his own life by committing suicide at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14 2020. Post his shocking death, the actor’s father lodged an FIR against Reha while accusing her of abetment of suicide, blackmailing and money laundering.
