New Delhi: Bejoy Nambiar, Krishna Marimuthu, and Swathi Raghuraaman are the directors of the Indian web series Sweet Kaaram Coffee. The main cast includes Lakshmi, Madhoo, and Santhy Balachandran. On July 6, 2023, it will premiere in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on Amazon Prime Video. The series is a family drama that eloquently depicts the journey of three women from three different generations.

Storyline
In Sweet Kaaram Coffee, we meet grandmother Sundari played by Lakshmi, mother Kaveri played by Madhoo, and daughter Nivedita played by Santhy Balachandran.
Sundari’s husband passed away, and her son adores her very much. But in her mind, he is more like a hostel warden who keeps tabs on her, and she just wants to go out and live an independent life. we can see that her granddaughter teases her about how she pronounces social media names. Despite being embarrassed, Sundari is in a positive frame of mind, she feels happy that she managed to properly pronounce the word.
Nivedita, her granddaughter, plays cricket. However, her lover issues an ultimatum in which she must choose either cricket orher boyfriend. His justification is that cricket-playing women would never be accepted by his family. So, he hopes that Nivedita will become a homemaker and assist his mother instead of playing cricket.
Kaveri is the mother of Nivedita and Sundari’s daughter-in-law. She feels that everyone in her family looks down on her. Kaveri is the most hesitant member of the group in making travel arrangements while both her daughter and her mother-in-law are looking to escape their current situations.
