New Delhi: The Golden Globe award night witnessed many emotions during the live ceremony of the awards. The American stand-up comedian and the host of the award show made enough headlines for people to remember. He was first noticed for his controversial opening at the award ceremony when he said “You want a perfect monologue? Yo, shut up. You’re kidding me, right? Slow down, I wrote some of these and they are the ones you are laughing at.” His comment didn’t come down well with many in social media, as many users on twitter crticized his statement.

Taylor Swift gives ‘death glare’ to the host of the show

During the live award ceremony, the host Jo Koy took a dig at the American singer for her NFL appearance. It looks like the comment of the host didn’t quite amuse the singer. The host was seen saying, The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,”.

The comment was also criticized by netizens in social media,

One user wrote, It’s not funny, his delivery was awful, another wrote, Because it’s not funny and his monologue was awful, another one writes, In fairness I don’t think anyone has liked any of his jokes tonight. The man is bombing HARD. It’s rough to watch  I don’t think Jo Koy will be hosting anything else any time soon, someone wrote, The only appropriate and real reaction to this host. Can you imagine eliciting that look from Taylor Swift?! Omg. Love her!
